Nail Tip Tuesday: Glittery Half Moon Manicure

With all the new 2011-2012 holiday nail polish collection out  it must be hard to choose just 1 colour to paint your nails. Glitter filled polish has made a comback so why not try pairing them with bold colours for some catchy holiday nail art with the Glittery Half Moon Manicure. Here are 4 helpful hints on how to acheive the look:

Materials:

2 contrasting nail polish colours (1 glittery and 1 solid)
10 binder reinforcment stickers

Instructions:

1. Apply 1-2 coats of the lighter nail polish colour on each nail (make sure you paint the whole nail).

2. When the nail is completley dry, place a reinforcement sticker at the base of each nail. To allow more flexibility and an even appliction you can cut a slit in the middle of the circular sticker.

3. Once each sticker is secure, paint the top half or your nail with the darker nail polish colour

4. Once dry carefully pull the reinforcement stickers off each nail and finish with a clear top clear coat and Voila! youve just spritz some glitz and glam on your nails for the holidays
