Rocker Marilyn Manson and Hollywood star Johnny Depp have teamed up to collaborate on a cover of Carley Simon ‘s iconic diss song, “You’re So Vain”. We cannot wait to hear this track! Such interesting musicians and entertainers with great, unique voices!
Though the collaboration seems like a surprise to most, they’ve been friends for a long time. Manson accompanied Depp to the premiere of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” and a remix version of Manson’s track “The Nobodies” was featured in Depp’s 2001 film From Hell.
The duo’s cover of the 1972 single “You’re So Vain” will be featured as a bonus track on Manson’s upcoming eighth studio album, Born Villian, due out May 1 on Manson’s personal label, Hell, etc. Records.
