We would love to see this happen! M83 have offered to write music for Katy Perry’s next album. This past weekend the pop star went to Coachella and reportedly caught all of M83’s set and absolutely loved it! After hearing about this, the dance producer M83 took to Facebook, writing that he would be interested in writing her next album because of the interest she showed in their music. Anthony Gonzalez, frontman of M83, released the bands double album Hurry Up We’re Dreaming last year and has had huge success with tracks like Midnight City being used in Victoria’s Secret commercials. Nevertheless, we think M83 could take Katy Perry’s music in a really exciting direction!
