Fresh off of his win on NBC’s The Voice, Jermaine Paul took to The Ellen DeGeneres Show‘s stage to perform a cover or Journey‘s “Open Arms”, and he slayed it!
In his interview, he talked to Ellen about choosing Blake Shelton as his mentor. He said: “I think it makes sense. He was so genuine. He challenged me up there,” he gushed. “You know he has definitely helped me sharpen my blade. And just find out what I want to do and what I want to say.” The two did a great job together, earning him the crown, $100,000 and a contract with Universal.
