Muse’s Track ‘Survival’ Chosen As Official Track For 2012 Olympic Games

Now this is a once in a lifetime honor and opportunity for any band! Rockers Muse have been lucky enough to have their track, Survival, chosen as the official track for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, England. The track is being debuted tonight on BBC Radio 1’s airwaves around 7:30pm. Muse’s official band website confirmed the track as the Olympic track writing that, “Matt wrote the song with the Olympics in mind. It’s about total conviction and pure determination to win”. The song will be played when athletes center the stadium and during the medal ceremony. Muse also recently unveiled the trailer for their upcoming studio album.
