This past weekend, June 7-10th, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival rocked Manchester, Tennessee with hundreds of performances from a wide range of musicians. The line-up included names such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bon Iver, Ludacris, Radiohead, Two Door Cinema Club, Santigold, and Skrillex. If that’s not enough for you, the festival includes comedy tents with acts from Aziz Ansari and art and dance workshops for free! The weather in Tennessee is naturally hot, but there is no doubt that the performances were even hotter. Brooklyn native, Santigold, killed her performance on the main stage with the highlight being the crowd being invited on stage during her smash single, Creator. There is no doubt that Skrillex took the crown for the biggest show of the entire festival. It was estimated that around 50,000 of the 80,000-ish people were at his show on Saturday night. This festival allows the “Bonnaroovians” to stay the weekend, camp and go enjoy any show the festival offers. If you go to Bonnaroo’s official YouTube link, you can check out all the performances! This festival has something for everyone, so any kind of music-lover is sure to find a band they love!
