Ellie Goulding Announces New Album – Halcyon

Following up her debut album, Lights, Ellie Goulding will be back with more. We can expect her sophomore album, Halcyon on October 8th. It seems like a long ways away but Ellie will be releasing the first single., “Anything Could Happen” on September 3oth. Ellie Goulding was not just a performer on this record, but also acted as co-producer. She worked with Jim Elliot (of Kylie Minogue and Ladyhawke fame) and recorded in her hometown of Hay Valley.

Goulding has managed to stay square in the spotlight, always up to something exciting. She and her boyfriend, Skrillex recently collaborated in the studio with Swedish House Mafia. The three acts worked on demos and had a session that Sebastian Ingrosso calls, “no pressure, just fun”. Goulding also recently by released a cover of, “Hanging On” by Active Child. Her version included British rapper, Tinie Tempah. Way to tease us until the album!
