Those of you who love streaming music might remember how much it sucked, a few years ago, when Pandora (the online, customized music-streaming service) stopped operating in Canada because of licensing issues. We also can’t use services like Spotify. Well, just a few days ago, an awesome (and free!) new service called Songza showed up in Canada, and you really should check it out. Basically, the site takes note of what time it is – say, late Wednesday afternoon – and offers you a selection of different curated playlists, appropriate for your mood and the hour. They call themselves a “lifestyle service”, more so than a music streaming service, as they realize how important music is in many people’s daily activities. Check it out at www.songza.com!
