Experimental psych-group Animal Collective gave back to the fans by allowing them to stream Centipede HZ, the band’s upcoming album, for free online. The band’s 10th full-length album (10th!) is available for streaming on Animal Collective‘s new online radio station, where each track is accompanied with an appropriately hallucinogenic video. Centipede HZ won’t be released in stores until September 3rd, so you’ll get a chance to listen before you decide to pay. On the same page they’ve also included a link to several lengthy radio streams hosted by each of the band members, which compile an extensive range of tracks by artists anywhere from Duck Sauce to Zomby. And if you didn’t think that they were busy enough, Animal Collective also just released the slightly terrifying new music video for the album’s first single “Today’s Supernatural,” which features painted faces, human pinatas, and disembodied arms with clubs. Sleep well tonight.
