American punk rock band, The Replacements, are getting back together to work on new music. The last material that they recorded together was back in 2006. Singer, Paul Westerberg and bassist, Tony Stinson got together late September in Minneapolis, and spent an entire day recording new music. The result was four new songs that will be released later this year on a limited edition 10-inch vinyl EP. Of the 250 copies that will be sold online, all the proceeds will go to a special organization. The original drummer of the band did not want to be a part of this reunion and Westerberg said “I was not surprised, but I was a little disappointed.”
We will let you know when the EP is available online bestfans!
