The 28th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be happening April 18th at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. As is tradition, some major names have been released as the first presenters and performers announced for this year’s ceremony. Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins will be inducting the popular band, Rush, into the hall of fame while John Mayer will induct the late Albert King. Mayer will be performing as well Gary Clark, Jr. to honor King. Founding member of The Eagles, Don Henley will be inducting Randy Newman.
In addition to the famed presenters, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson are among some of the first names to be released, coming together to perform in honor of the late Donna Summers. The Foo Fighters have also been named as potential performers during the ceremony. More presenters and performers will be released within the next couple of weeks. Other inductees at this year’s ceremony include rock ‘n roll names such as Lou Adler, Quincy Jones, and Public Enemy.
