It seems the X Factor stars are all becoming successful, no matter where they finish in the final competition. The popular girl group Fifth Harmony have now been signed to a recording contract deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco Music and LA Reid’s Epic Records.
Cowell was Fifth Harmony‘s mentor throughout the competition, with them finishing in third. The group is comprised of Ally Brooke, Normani Hamilton, Dinah Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui and Camila Cabello. In a statement, Cabello said, “The fact that we’re being given the opportunity to make music that we want feels like a dream we never want to wake up from. I literally have to pinch myself.”
This topic came about over twitter when Simon Cowell tweeted, “I see a lot of support for Fifth Harmony. Do you think we should sign the girls?” This sparked over 6,000 retweets and favorites, with Cowell tweeting a couple hours later, “To all the harmonisers. Thank you for all the support. Happy to confirm we have signed fifth harmony.” It looks like some big things are going to be coming from Fifth Harmony!
