They’re back! Check out the premiere of Paramore‘s new single “Now“! The track serves as the lead single off the band’s upcoming self-titled album, due out April 9 on Fueled By Ramen Records. Produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen (M83, Neon Trees), “Now” is an upbeat lo-fi rock tune that drifts away from more of their pop leaning numbers.
The track finds lead singer Hayley Williams sounding a little similar to Gwen Stefani‘s speak-sing style in the verses but she pulls it off nicely. “It just feels like the perfect way to start this new journey we are embarking on not only as a band but as a movement,” the band wrote of the song back in December. “To show people that you can lose battles but come back and win full on wars. You can rise from ashes. You can make something out of even less than nothing. The only thing you have to do is keep moving forward!”
