With two weeks left until Tegan and Sara release their latest album Heartthrob on January 29, the Canadian duo have just premiered a brand new track titled “I Was A Fool“! The track was released yesterday along with a new interview on Glamour. Produced by Greg Kurstin, I Was A Fool is a lush pop ballad that is a perfect sonic meld of bubbling synth-pop and a gorgeous piano-driven melody. Heartthrob is quickly becoming my favorite record from the ladies, this song is fantastic.
