Thus Owls is a Canadian indie rock duo from Canada and Sweden and they’re currently set to release a new album, Turning Rocks.
The band is composed of Erika and Simon Angell, a married couple who share a musical chemistry. Erika’s voice is soft and soulful, while Simon compliments her tone with his keyboard technique. Their song “How, In My Bones” sounds a bit like the psychedelic rock group Jefferson Airplane. Their music is very psychedelic sounding, the guitar riffs in the tune have a Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon vibe to them.
Their album is set to come out April 8, and their song “How, In My Bones” is currently available for a limited time free download. They also released a mini- documentary AND going on tour. The documentary discussed the formation of the record, and a bit about the couple.
