NXNE: Sleigh Bells at Yonge-Dundas Square

If you’ve heard of Sleigh Bells, then you know how absolutely nuts they go when they perform in any environment. The case was no different at Yonge-Dundas Square for North By North East (NXNE), where they performed their set which mainly consisted of music from all of their albums Bitter Rivals, Reign Of Terror, and Treats which had loud hits such as “Infinity Guitars” and “Crown on the Ground”.

If I could I could only choose one word to describe this concert, it would be: Hype. Sleigh Bells are known for being loud, rebellious, bass heavy, and just overall bad ass – and they show that they mean it. With every song, almost every single bone in my body rattled with the bass, and I had no problem with it. I really do hope Sleigh Bells make another visit to Toronto whether it be with another music festival, or solo, because I personally think Toronto could use another ass kicking.
