The Foo Fighters are back in the music game with a new single and a new album coming soon to a record store near you.
The band released their new single “The Feast and The Famine” on Oct. 24, and the full album is set to be released Nov. 10. The song is very old-school Foo Fighters, and I love it. Not only does lead singer, Dave Grohl smash it on the vocals, but the songs ends with a killer guitar and drum combo. The song is just so powerful musically and really energized. I can only imagine how great it’s gonna sound live. Definitely a good opener song, bound to get the crowd hyped up.
The album, Sonic Highways, will be the eighth studio album by the band and will have eight songs. Apparently, each song was recorded in a different city in the States. The band also has another single off the album called “Something From Nothing”. It’s a lot slower than the other song, but it’s still good. It’s got a steady paced rock beat. Very classic sounding Foo song. The album seems to be going back to the Foo’s original sounding records and I don’t think too many people will be complaining about it.
Take a listen to “The Feast and The Famine” here! Also, make sure to check out the album when it’s released- Nov 10!
