Yesterday, BestFan’s own Vanessa Francone caught up with G-Eazy, who gave us the nudge that new music videos were on the way. As promised, G -Eazy premieres a brand new visual for the track, “Downtown Love” featuring crooner John Michael Rouchell.
Within the city of bright lights and the wild city life, the Bay Area artist tells us a story of a woman who looks to be trapped in the world of meaningless parties and late-nights, but is searching for something more. The track lives on G-Eazy‘s latest release, These Things Happen.
The video is directed by Bobby Bruderle, who worked on his previous tracks like, “I Mean It” and “Almost Famous“. The video drew inspiration from an old Louis Vuitton commercial. Yesterday, G-Eazy took to the stage and performed a killer set at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto for his “From The Bay To The Universe” tour. Before his sold-out performance, he joined us for an interview sharing his school memories, the inspirations for his latest music and much more with our own BestFan TV host Vanessa Francone. Stay tuned into BestFan for the full interview, which is expected to hit the net soon!
