Dash Berlin turned it up in Toronto, Ontario, on March 28, as he took over the sweatbox known as Sound Academy. Way out on Polson Street, hundreds gathered in line on a cold night.
Some girls didn’t let a little below zero temperature get in the way of their shiny and bright rave outfits. At coat check inside, dozens were dropped off their sweatpants before running towards the laser lights in the other room.
Inside, Mark Oliver was spinning steady beats to warm up the crowd. Of course, the seasoned Toronto DJ is no stranger to the scene over here. He kept us dancing, just as he had at Solaris Music Festival.
The second Mark of the night, Mark Sixma hit the stage right after and brought some decent progressive trance mixes. At this point of the night, it was already closing in on midnight, but as soon as Dash Berlin approached the decks, the crowd went wild with renewed energy.
Dash Berlin spinned an energetic set, just hours after playing at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida. It’s no doubt that he continued to bring his A-game, and his audience danced hard in appreciation for the trance DJ’s appearance.
