BestFan hit up Bud Light Digital Dreams Music Festival over the weekend. Despite the first day being cancelled and the rainy weather, the festival raged on with energetic sets, dollar store ponchos, and lots and lots of fire on Sunday, June 28. Here’s our Best of Bud Light Digital Dreams Music Festival 2015:
5. The lack of floral crowns
Yeah, yeah, there were a handful of floral crowns; but I am sure glad that the trend is dying down. What music festival trends do you despise? Let us know in the comments.
4. Good vibes at TD Echo Beach
Echo Beach is the house and techno stage. A chilled out crowd, a pseudo-beach, and talented DJs made for some good vibes after the rage people felt from first day’s cancellation. Shout outs to the fog machine for making things atmospheric.
3. Music, duh
Although we only got half of the lineup that was originally announced, the music was, as always, excellent. Good times were had at all the stages. Zomboy’s set at the Bacardi Untameable stage was one of the best one’s of the day – so much energy and the best bass face!
2. Our singed eyebrows
Eyebrow game not strong after this weekend, but it was worth it for the visuals. The pyrotechnics at the main Dreams Stage were wild this year; of note, Martin Garrix was very generous with the stage dramatics.
1. The Canada flags
Digital Dreams takes place over the Canada Day long weekend every year. Well, it’s not exactly a long weekend this year, but close enough. We loved seeing ravers waving their personalized and bedazzled Canada flags. The flags did double duty this year, serving as a patriotic accessory as well as shelter from the rain.
