After premiering the mixtape in its entity exclusively on Beats 1 on iTunes Radio. Drake and Future are ready to let the world listen to their secret collaborative project, What A Time To Be Alive. A few weeks ago, Angela Yee (of Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club) almost let it slip before her co-host Charlamagne the God caught her mid-sentence. Since then, rumours started to spin out of control… until Drake finally confirmed its release a few days ago.
The anticipation for this mixtape has been at an all-time high since Future’s last release, Dirty Sprite 2 and Drake’s If Your Reading This It’s Too Late earlier this year. They also managed to share the stage at the 6th Annual OVO Festival and recently at Ryerson University’s Frosh Week. I took a listen to the mixtape at around 6:20 pm today, and let me say it is straight fire.
Here are the deets: The mixtape features 11 tracks with no additional features. The tracks are produced from a host of notable producers such as Metro Boomin, Boi-1da, Neenyo, Southside and Noah “40” Shebib. Atlanta rapper Metro Boomin is also said to be the executive producer. You can pick up the album or preview the album via iTunes. You can stream the album via the OVO Radio link below (22 minute mark):
Since the mixtape’s release, Twitter has been lit with comment and memes of the album including a discussion about a rumored shot from Future to Meek Mill, their reactions and their favorite songs. See it all below:

“You just a battle rapper, I’m an official trapper.” – Future. Sigh Meek Mill can’t catch a break.
