It’s no secret that Hedley has had something in the works for quite some time now. The band has been working hard on their sixth album, and within the last couple of weeks, they have been teasing the fans pretty hard about what they’ve been cooking up.
After releasing many teaser videos, a promo video, and starting an online conversation using the hashtag #HedleyLIT, Hedley released their much anticipated single “Lost In Translation” this morning. But, it doesn’t end there. Along with the release of the new single comes the option to pre-order the full album, called Hello, which will be released on November 6th. You can also get a peek at the 11-song track listing – but you can’t sample the songs just yet!
Hedley has caused quite the commotion in their online space; revamping their website and tweeting up a storm. Lead singer Jacob Hoggard has even hinted about their upcoming tour that we are speculating will be called Hello World based on one of Hoggard’s tweets. We will have to stay tuned for those details!
In the meantime, you can listen to the new track below. I’ll warn you though – it’s not going to be what you expect. I’ve come to the realization that you can’t really expect anything from Hedley. The music that they create doesn’t have a pattern or a specific sound, and no two Hedley albums are the same. The music is constantly changing and evolving with every record that they release. It keeps them relevant and it keeps the fans on their toes because no matter how big of a Hedley fan you are, you can never be sure what’s going to come from them next! They’re full of surprises. Listen for yourself:
