Simple Plan kicked off their world tour in Windsor, Ontario last night with a benefit concert put on by local radio stations Mix 96.7 and Cool FM. Ticket sales from the show went to local charity, T2B (Transition to Betterness), which helps patients and families deal with life-altering illnesses.

The band opened the show with their newest single “Opinion Overload”, kicking off the high-energy performance. Fans were excited to see them performing in Windsor for the first time ever, many lining up as early as noon in the freezing cold weather. Simple Plan performed two songs for the first time “Farewell” and “Kiss Me Like Nobody’s Watching”, as well as their singles “Boom” and “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” all are featured on their new album ‘Taking One for the Team’ which drops tomorrow.
Even though they are returning from a four-year hiatus, the guys didn’t skip a beat throughout their 16-song set. Do yourself a favour and try to catch their Taking One for the Team tour when it comes to your city!
