Canada’s biggest music awards show of the year has just released their nominations for the 2016 JUNO Awards! For all of us fans of Canadian music and artists, this is exciting news for emerging household-name stars such as Francesco Yates and Shawn Mendes, as well as more established artists like k-os and Hedley.
Toronto’s favourite R&B singer The Weeknd croons his way to top Single of the Year, with a nomination for summer hit “Can’t Feel My Face.” No surprise there! The Weeknd also leads the charge with seven total nominations including Album of the Year and R&B/Soul Recording of the Year.

2015 has been a big year for young artists.
