This Sunday, fans of football from all over the world gather round to watch one of the biggest games in North American sports – the 2016 Super Bowl. Even if you’re not a football fanatic, chances are you’ll be interested in either the high-budget commercials, or the kick-ass halftime show; perhaps the only time you watch the NFL is on Bad Lip Reading.
Another big celebrity draw at the Super Bowl is the singing of the national anthem. This Tuesday, the NFL announced the Lady Gaga is set to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at this year’s Super Bowl. She joins the ranks of other powerful vocalists such as Jennifer Hudson and “Let It Go” singer Idina Menzel who have previously sang the anthem at Super Bowls, in 2009 and 2015 respectively.
How do you think Lady Gaga will do at her rendition of the national anthem? The talented singer and songwriter is also set to perform a tribute to David Bowie at this year’s Grammy Awards on February 15.
