Toronto duo Majid Jordan has just released their long anticipated self-titled album two years after the release of their EP, A Place Like This. Their debut album is released via Drake’s record label OVO Sound & Warner Bros Records.
The New LP features Toronto’s very own Drake in “My Love” as well as 11 additional tracks; it’s an album that hearkens back to the age of groove-based production, yet at the same, pushes boundaries with they’re sensually harmonic synths. It seems that the duo hasn’t included any other featured artists to the mix except for champagne papi. The album drops just a week before All Star Weekend kicks off in Toronto. I guess we know what’s going to be playing at all the Allstar after parties. Seems like Drake will be cashing it in either way.
