Rising star Bibi Bourelly takes to the net to release the empowering visuals to her new single off her upcoming EP, “Free The Real“.
The video is directed by Sebastian Sdaigui, who takes us on a journey to find out who Sally is – from the streets to the clubs as it showcases different people in their own walks of life with cameos from Jackie Cruz, Little Simz, Larsen Thompson and much more. Upon releasing the video, Bibi writes, “SALLY, at his or her core, is someone who shakes off hate, negativity, and bad vibes and maintains focus and energy on what is most important for him or her, SALLY is an identifier for like-minded people coming together towards a common goal. SALLY is the modern day, genderless Rosie the Riveter, a symbol for a new generation of people.”
Bibi Bourelly has been buzzing in the music scene for quite sometime, with collaborations from Usher and Nas, and her writing contribution to Rihanna‘s “Bitch Betta Have My Money“. She also made a recent appearance on ‘The Tonight Show” and a performance scheduled on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on May 4th. Her EP, “Free The Real” will be split into two releases – the first installment is slated to arrive May 6th via Def Jam with a sequel to follow before the end of the year.
