Hedley’s ‘Hello World Tour’ hit Oshawa, Ontario last night, and boy was it a good time! The guys breezed through their energetic two hour set to an almost sold out crowd. Fans sang and danced along as lead singer, Jacob Hoggard, led them through the band’s hits and fan favourites like “Gunnin”, “Perfect”, and “Lose Control”.
One of the highlights of the evening was when Hoggard took a fan’s phone from the audience and used it to FaceTime and call people in her contacts list. He later brought the fan on stage to take a photo with the band and audience. Talk about a cool fan experience!
Hedley is all about getting up close and personal with their fans, so to do this, Hoggard sang one of the band’s classics “Trip” from a back section of the arena.
The opening acts on this tour, also must be mentioned as they did a great job to get the crowd on their feet and excited for the night. Francesco Yates started the night off with his groovy hits “Better To Be Loved” and “Call”. He closed out his set by busting out his cool dance moves and killer guitar skills on his hit song “Sugar”.
Carly Rae Jepsen kept the party going with her fun, dancey hits like “Run Away With Me”, “Tonight I’m Getting Over You”, and “I Really Like You”. Her smash hit “Call Me Maybe” got the biggest crowd reaction.
The ‘Hello World Tour’ is continuing its way through Canada until May 7th and is definitely worth catching so be sure to get tickets for your city!
