Toronto was buzzing in excitement with three major concerts happening last night – Selena Gomez, Beyonce and Emblem3! BestFan host Sharon Bhella had the chance to attend the Emblem3 show and it did not disappoint! Check out her review of the show below.
After getting stuck in some pretty ridiculous traffic I made the show just in time for the second opener, Megan Nicole. I was super glad that I didn’t miss her set – she’s so awesome! Getting her start on YouTube covering tons of artists since 2012, this girl now has well over 3 million subscribers to her channel. Megan brought so much positive energy to The Phoenix Concert Theatre, and I truly enjoyed listening to her music. My favourite part of her set was probably her cover of Justin Bieber‘s “Sorry” – which she also covered on her youtube channel. Watch the cover below:
Next up was one of my favourites, The Ready Set. Frontman Jordan Witzigreuter killed it with his band (as always). The fans were pretty excited when he played throwbacks such as”Love Like Woe”. Seriously, if you ever have a chance to catch The Ready Set in concert, do it – I promise you will have fun! Catch his music video for “Best Song Ever” below:
Finally, Emblem3 took the stage! This was my first time seeing them perform live and I must say, I was super impressed. Wesley, Keaton, and Drew definitely got the crowd pumped right from the second they ran on stage. They played songs off their new EP “Wake Up” as well as some of their older songs from their first album “Nothing To Lose”. I’m sure everyone at the show last night can agree, we are so glad Drew re-joined the band last year!
My favourite part of the show was hearing “Chloe” live, however, I love every single song they sang. Wesley also did a mini cover of The Weeknd‘s “Often” which sounded so so good.
If you have a chance to catch the Waking Up Tour 2016 we definitely recommend it! Listen to one of their newest tracks “End Of The Summer” below:
Here are some of our shots from last night! Be sure to tag us in your pics if you were there, we’d love to see them!
