CBC Music Festival is the ultimate celebration of our county’s independent musical talents. These bands may have started off on their local radio stations, small bars and venues but they have gone on to play successful shows and festivals around the world. This year, Alvvays played Coachella and Hey Rosetta! played Bonnaroo, making CBC Music Festival the best place for their homecomings. If that’s not enough, they were joined by veterans like Tokyo Police Club and The New Pornographers. With the CN tower as a backdrop and framed by the lake, this was the best festival to indulge in the sounds of Canada.
