For today’s summer fave, let’s take a look at a very important thing to remember during these hot summer months…HYDRATION! It is so important to stay hydrated in the summer- especially if you’re super active and on the go. Now I’m the kind of person who get’s bored of plain water all the time so I found an alternative option that has helped me stay on track in terms of drinking more water. So to make water more fun, I started adding things like fruits and vegetables to my water to give it some extra flavour. The small pieces make for great snacks when your hungry too!
My favourite things to add to my water are frozen berries, frozen mango chunks, lemon wheels or wedges and cucumber slices. These items not only add flavour, but also contain multiple health benefits, such as aiding in weight loss, digestion, reduce inflammation and contribute to better health.
