With the news of his next project and new hair, Toronto crooner The Weekend gives fans the title track right at the stroke of midnight.
The singer-songwriter decides to release, “Starboy” with assistance from Daft Punk. The catchy single seems to take page from the very talented French robots, as production seems to mimic their signature style. The Weeknd takes the reigns as he sings, “you talking money, need to hear a name/you talking bout me, I don’t see a shade/switch out my side, I’ll take any lane/I switch out my car if I kill any pain“.
His third studio album, Starboy can be pre-ordered via iTunes and will be releasing on November 25th. On the iTunes track-list, it looks to hold 18 tracks. The only other revealed track is called, “False Alarm”, but we’ll have to keep our sights for more details on that.
