Interview: Jahkoy

Our host, Jonathan Joseph sits down with rising singer, Jahkoy for a special interview about his first studio album through Def Jam Recordings called Foreign Water, the realist lyrics he’s written, his lead single, “California Heaven” featuring Schoolboy Q and how the collaboration came about, his top five celebrities, his celebrity crush and much more.

Jahkoy is a 22 year old singer-songwriter from Toronto, who locked a deal with Def Jam. A tight knit group of fans have been highly anticipating his album for sometime now and he finally delivered the 7-track project yesterday. He rise to fame hasn’t gone unnoticed from spins and shout-outs from radio shows like Zane Lowe‘s Beats 1 Radio to Drake‘s OVO Sound Radio.
