Jahkoy – “Foreign Water” [Album Stream]

Earlier this morning, 22-year old Toronto singer-songwriter, Jahkoy released his first project since locking a deal with Def Jam.

He officially releases his latest EP, Foreign Water, which features 7 tracks and a solo feature from Schoolboy Q for his lead single, “California Love“. On the road to creating the album, Jahkoy worked with Chicago crooner Jeremih and famed producer Rico Love to find the right sounds and build the vision around his album.

Foreign Water has a little bit of everything from smooth raw R&B on tracks like, “No Regret” to dancehall influenced cuts like, “Don’t Stop The Vibe”. There’s a reason Def Jam has him in his scopes and his latest effort lays down a solid foundation for what things we can expect from him in the near future. For true fans of R&B, this project doesn’t disappoint and I’m honestly excited to see what else he has to bring to the forefront. You can purchase the album via iTunes.
