With their album release steadily coming, Maroon 5 delivers their infectious new single called, “Don’t Wanna Know” featuring Compton’s favourite rapper, Kendrick Lamar.
The new track has Adam Levine reminiscing the good ol’ times he had with his ex, while K. Dot gives us a different outlook on what she might be missing from him. Kendrick raps, “Do he do you like this? Do he woo you like this? Do he lay it down for you, touch you, pull you like this?/You may be his right now, but your body still me.”
Surprisingly this isn’t the first collaboration between the two, as they teamed up in 2013’s Lonely Island‘s SNL digital short titled, “YOLO”.
Coming this Friday, Maroon 5 has announced they will be debuting the music video for the new single on NBC’s “Today”, which will be directed by David Dobkin, who was behind the movie, “Wedding Crashers”. In addition, they will also performing the new single on Ellen on November 3rd.
