With only a couple weeks left in the year, Taylor Swift and former One Direction singer, Zayn Malik team up to debut and release the official track from the “Fifty Shades Of Grey” sequel, “Fifty Shades Darker”
The new sultry track, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” was first revealed on Taylor’s social media channels. She debuted the single art and a clip from the song on Instagram, while Zayn posted a photo with Swift and gave it a simple caption: “#IDontWannaLiveForever.”
The track was written by Taylor Swift and produced by Jack Antonoff (who is also a contributing writer to the track). The track has the pop superstars take turns in delivering their memorizing lines. “Baby babe, I feel crazy/Up all night, all night and all day/I give you something, but you gave me nothing/What is happening to me,” sings Taylor in an early verse, while Zayn takes over as he sings, “I don’t want to live forever, ’cause I don’t wanna be living in pain.”
The soundtrack for the first film in the series featured A-list musical talent including Ellie Goulding, The Weeknd, Beyoncé in addition to tracks from Jessie Ware, Sia, the Rolling Stones, and more.
Fifty Shades Darker is slated to hit theatres February 10, 2017.
