Jason Derulo Feat. Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign – “Swalla”

Earlier at the 2017 Grammy Awards, Jason Derulo announced his new single “Swalla” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign.

On the new island flavoured collaboration, Jason Derulo and Ty Dolla $ign take turns exchanging some smooth vocals as Nicki Minaj closes off the track with a sexy and seductive guest verse. For those who have a good ear, the track also pulls inspiration from Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s classic 1995 single “Shimmy Shimmy Ya” and Kendrick Lamar’s 2012 smash “Swimming Pools (Drank).”

In addition to the new single, Jason Derulo will be releasing the accompanying music video which has already been filmed out in the islands. “Swalla” is currently available on iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify in select international markets like Australia and New Zealand, but excited fans in North America should be able to purchase the single at midnight (Feb 24).
