I think it’s important for musicians to go beyond the music and use their voices to influence and empower their fans – what’s your message to the youth?
With being a Free The Children’s ambassador now for a bunch of years, the kids that participate at WeDay influence me so much more than I feel I influence them. They are so wise and unbelievably charitable. However, my go to advice to the youth is always “don’t be afraid to be yourself and always watch your friends back” bullying is so prevalent in today’s society that nothing can be more comforting and important like a real friend.
Would you rather…not be able to eat French fries again for life or give up pizza forever?
I can give up pizza, but French fries sorry I just can’t live without you 😂🙌🏼

What are you looking to accomplish before the year’s end?
To get “Illusion” (remix) prepared for release on Jan 11th as well as begin the prep work for my next video and single dropping in late spring 2018! Song is called “Way Low” followed by an EP in April!
Your latest single, “Illusion” explains a moment that takes us by surprise leading into something dangerous over time. What was the inspiration behind the single’s concept?
It’s basically a constant struggle between my career and my personal life. I guess it could be looked at like the sequel to “amateur At love” but this time you don’t get the girl back! the song is basically about a relationship that went wrong, being in a day and age where social media and its affects are tangible and real.
