Former frontman of The Gaslight Anthem, Brian Fallon has released his second solo album Sleepwalkers.
The new album holds 12 tracks including his first single “Forget Me Not” released in October last year. The album was recorded at New Orleans’ Parlor Recording Studio with British Grammy award winning producer Ted Hutt, who also produced The Gaslight Anthem’s breakout album THE 59 SOUND.
Fallon will also be heading off on a major Euroean Tour beginning on February 19th with several UK dates, and will be back in Toronto April 24th at The Danforth Music Hall. Tickets available here.
Fans are in for a great evening filled with good music and hilarious story-telling. We recently had a chance to catch Fallon in Toronto before the release of Sleepwalkers at the Dakota Tavern! He played a few songs off the new album as well as songs off his first solo album Painkillers. In between each song he took time to chat with the audience and it honestly felt like listening to a good friend. He truly shares everything on his mind at his shows (including some of his biggest fears) and we just loved his honest conversations about life.
When describing the new music Fallon has said “Things are very different now and I think I sort of lost my place, like what do I write about now? I don’t want to write songs about taxes. You have to find your center and just write about where you’re at now. I decided to just write about me and my friends and my family, I’m going to write about the things that I know right now.”
