Lennon Stella performed to a sold out crowd two nights in a row this week at The Danforth Music Hall to kick off her Love, Me Tour.
The night started off with Valley who got the crowd dancing away before Lennon hit the stage. They also covered the chorus from Stella’s song “Fortress”. Their good vibe and energy tied in perfectly to the rest of the show.
After Valley’s set, Lennon Stella started off the night performing her first released single “Like Everybody Else” and the crowd absolutely loved it. We’re sure every single person in the crowd knew all the words and sang along.
She then performed a few new songs that are going to be on her upcoming album as well as the songs off her recently released EP “Love Me”. Lennon sang a stripped down version to her song “Polaroid” feat. Liam Payne and covered Cyndi Lauper’s song “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”.
Near the end of the show, she stopped to thank her band and everyone for attending and then as a surprise, she brought out her sister Maisy Stella to perform their own unique cover version of MGMT’s hit song “Kids”. As seen on the show Nashville, we already knew their voices sound amazing together but seeing it live was definitely an experience to remember.
She ended the night performing her newly released single “Bitch”.
Overall, the show was a blast and Lennon Stella is a true talent. Her angelic voice is truly unique and we can’t wait for the next time she’s back in Toronto.
