The Washboard Union performed in Toronto last night at the MOD Club for their What Were Made Of Tour and we had a blast covering the show.
Jason Benoit started off the night with an acoustic set performing songs from his recently released EP and as well as a few covers. This acoustic set really allowed him to show off his vocals and range and the crowd was amazed watching him.
After that, The Washboard Union danced their way out onto the stage and started with their hit “Shine”. This got the crowd dancing and pumped for what was to come.
Their set included most of the songs from their album and a new song song that will be released next month. They also performed two Bluegrass songs which got the crowed two steppin’.
Half way during the show, they noticed a fan was wearing their merch and gave her a guitar pick. Then they reached down and got her to strum their guitar while she tried playing a chord too.
Overall, the show was amazing and definitely had you moving your feet non stop.
We look forward to their next visit in Toronto.
